Sayaka Shinoda
Violin
After studying at the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, the Strasbourg Conservatoire and the CNSMD in Lyon, Sayaka Shinoda explored the great repertoire from the Renaissance to contemporary creations. She has already performed with numerous ensembles from the Baroque world, including Les Arts Florissants, Le Concert Spirituel, Pulcinella, Les Surprises, Le Concert Étranger, Academia Montis Regalis, Le Concert de l'Hostel Dieu, Correspondances and Spirito, who regularly invite her to perform and record.
Sacred music and chamber music from the late sixteenth to the early eighteenth century are her favourite fields, and she also takes part in several chamber music ensembles such as Il Delirio Fantastico (5 diapasons and the Choc of Classica magazine for her recordings of Vivaldi), Fiori Harmonici, Zéphire. Sayaka has set up her own violin consort ensemble, Les Voies Fleuries, dedicated to Renaissance music.
