Clémence Niclas
Soprano
Clémence Niclas obtained her master's degree in recorder from the CNSMD in Lyon in 2019. Also a singer, she will be joining the early music singing class at the CNSMD in Lyon in 2020.
In 2016, she co-founded the ApotropaïK ensemble, a quartet focusing on medieval repertoire. Since its creation, the ensemble has won several international prizes. Equally passionate about live performance, Clémence is currently involved in a number of productions, including Qui-Vive, an electro-opera with Compagnie Rassegna, and Lubulus et Alaïs, a show for young audiences produced by JMFrance, in a duet with percussionist Lou Renaud-Bailly. She has also developed as a solo singer, notably in ensembles such as Doulce Mémoire, la Chacana (Pierre Hamon) and la Nébuleuse (Gabriel Rignol).
